By the way, I think you guys do a great job as moderators, and I have no problem with a code of conduct. All these people debating and arguing are doing it cuz they are angry people who like to make everything an "issue". Unfortunately it's the loud minority who get all the attention around here. Please know for every whiner, there are a dozen who stand behind you guys.

I am rather tired of all the crap flying from just a few folks...but at least the last 24 hours seem better.

I find it interesting that no one has come forward to suggest changes to the coc since I asked again for them to come up with wording that was less ambiguous.

It's hard to come up with better wording. And we've had discussion where so many points and topics came up related to it. I think people are realizing that it's not as easy as they think, that there's a lot of things to consider. But at least people seem to be considering others more and there is a bit more harmony. I hope that we can continue this and head off things that lead back to the dark side.

hopefully, it will last beyond the hunt.

Oh I'm not going to do anything about it. I think it's humorous, in more ways than one. At least we can all come together to confront the evils of "medallionation" :wink:

The discussion about the code brought out other valid points from everyone regarding everything.

We're all stir crazy to boot. 2 more days and we'll all be better.

Question - I've noticed that marleyking and medallion stallion have both shown up on the who's here list and I believe marleyking has been on more than once.

I'm assuming they got registered but haven't had their payment recognized yet.

How often does Mark check his paypal thing? I know this is Sunday, but if he can't do it, it would be good if Tim could. Maybe I don't fully understand that system. I just hate for people to be waiting a couple days to be able to post.

If the pay thing hasn't been approved yet, they can't get the PMs. I tried that with green yesterday and until Mark had her all set to post, she couldn't open 'em...and the same when Inks got logged in the other day. No access when he tried to open his bulls eye thighy.

I guess there isn't much to be done but wait it out and hope Mark gets their payment things registered quickly.

I noticed in the headings at the Welcome Home thread, there isn't anything about the paying part. I know that comes up anyways, but perhaps an instructon to be sure to email Mark Richter with their paypal receipt number and the name they are registered under might help speed up the process.

I asked Langness if he was calling himself a cooler. He answered me with a response of no. He will always think of himself as a Medallionator but he doesn't want to continue the online stuff. Now that he holds public office he doesn't want anything to get back to him.

If someone puts someone else on thier ignore list...... and that person who was ignored sends an egram will then get any kinda info telling them that they were ignored?

I ask because someone wants to ignore someone else but doesn't want to hurt feelings.

I would suggest you send an egram to TIM or to SYSOP and ask them...

Try it out with the moderator and Payme perhaps? I suggest Payme, just because I don't know if being moderators or having host powers would affect it at all.

I would have Steph do a test with it but shes at work. It's not a big rush.
