Feb Fest schedule

February Festival is held on Lake Ann in early February each year and is sponsored by the City of Chanhassen in cooperation with the Chanhassen Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau. This one-day event draws 1,500-2,000 participants and spectators.

$4,500 TOTAL DOOR PRIZES: Just buy an Ice Fishing Ticket for a chance to win over $4,500 in door prizes - you don't even have to fish - and you need not be present to win.

Grand Prize - $500 Travel Voucher: Win a travel voucher good for anywhere in the continental U.S. courtesy of Travel Advisors International/American Express.

Celebrate winter at Chanhassen's 16th Annual February Festival on Saturday, Feb. 7, on the ice of Lake Ann.

CONCESSIONS – 12-3 pm

The Chanhassen Rotary will sell concessions on the ice of Lake Ann. Sales will be under the tent. Note: You may not bring your own food, beverages, or coolers onto the ice.

S'MORES COOKOUT – 12-3 pm

The Chanhassen Boy Scout Troop #330 will be selling S'more kits next to the tent.

BONFIRE (FREE) – 12-3 pm

Cook a S'more, take a break from skating or fishing and warm up by a huge bonfire built right on the ice.

SLIDING HILL (FREE) – 12-3 pm

Bring your sled and join us for a fun-filled day of sledding in the Parkview picnic area (located near the picnic pavilion/concession stand).

HAYRIDE (FREE) – 12:30-2:30 pm

Take the family on an authentic horse-drawn hayride and enjoy a a mobile view of the event.

OPEN SKATING (FREE) – 12-3 pm

Bring your skates and join us for a full-filled day of skating right on Lake Ann.

FRIENDS OF THE CHANHASSEN LIBRARY (FoCL) MEDALLION HUNT – $750 PRIZE PACKAGE

A city wide Medallion Hunt will be held beginning Saturday, February 2. The medallion will be hidden on public land in Chanhassen and a clue as to its location will be released daily at Byerly's, on the FoCL web site, and Chanhassen Library until Saturday, February 7. For contest rules and more information, visit the Chanhassen Library or www.chanfriends.net. Prize package is provided by Byerly's, Chanhassen Center Drug and Friends of the Chanhassen Library.

BINGO – 1-2:30 pm

If the fish aren't biting, try your luck at a game of BINGO, literary style, sponsored by the Friends of the Chanhassen Library. Located under the tent.

LIVE BAIT AVAILABLE – 12-3 pm

Boy Scout Troop #330 will sell live bait throughout the contest.

ICE FISHING CONTEST – 1-3 pm

Test your skills in the 16th Annual February Festival Ice Fishing Contest sponsored by the City of Chanhassen in cooperation with the Chanhassen Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau and local businesses. Over $7,500 in prizes will be given away.

Tickets are available at Byerly's, Cabin Fever Sports in Victoria, Cub Foods, Chanhassen City Hall, Chanhassen Recreation Center, and Ivan's Sinclair and Bait & Tackle. Tickets are also available by mail (click HERE for registration form) or at the contest.

If fishing, tickets must be present during the entire contest (one ticket per hole, limit of two tickets for each person fishing). Purchase as many tickets as you wish for the prize drawings. Ticket sales will end at ______________ at which time the raffle drawing will begin.

Make checks payable to the CHANHASSEN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE and then mail along with registration form to: City of Chanhassen, 7700 Market Boulevard, P.O. Box 147, Chanhassen, MN 55317 (P.O. Box must be used when mailing).

If the festival cannot be held on February 7, it will will be moved to February 8.

Refunds will only be issued if both dates are cancelled.
