Karen Roback and her daughter found the horseshoe at 10:15am this morning (Thursday) behind the “THE OLD SAFETY CENTER” in the area directly behind the current fire station (City property on 5th and Hwy 3). This area will be host to the firemen’s party/event next week during DJJD as they do every year.
Karen and her family deciphered the sidewalk poems throughout downtown Northfield this week gathering letters and unscrambling them to assist in leading them to this spot.
On Friday (tomorrow) hunters would have received the 3 more letters and Saturday they would receive the “wheel of fortune” like letter/word layout (giving the number of words and total letters in each word) along with the word THE. THE XXX XXXXXX XXXXXX.
Karen has registered her button and will receive the full $900 purse.
