One of the joys of summer is live music — outdoors. It’s been a Hutchinson tradition for more than 30 years. It’s also a popular attraction in the surrounding towns.
If you’re looking for something new — Litchfield’s summer festival — Watercade — is moving activities Thursday night to Central Park. The evening features a brat feed, ice cream and Watercade Idol. To participate, registration forms are available at Litchfield Community Education, 307 E. Sixth St., or call 320-693-2354.
Watercade will also feature a Lip Sync Contest at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Central Park. Registration forms are available at Litchfield Community Education, 307 E. Sixth St., or call 320-6593-2354.
Wrap up Saturday night with the Watercade Street Dance featuring opening acts Crimson Edge and Flathead followed by headliner Georgia Satellites at the Civic Arena parking lot, 900 N. Gilman Ave., Litchfield. Tickets available at the gate.
