Heimatfest medallion found

Lily VanBergen, 5, and brother Evan, 6, show off the prized Heimatfest medallion.

The Heimatfest medallion has been found, by the VanBergen family.

Nicole, husband Brandon and their two children, Evan, 6, and Lily, 5, were walking underneath the bridge by North Highway 169, by I Got A Guy warehouse, when they found the shiny piece of Heimatfest gold.

They turned in the large, golden coin for $75 in Jordan Dollars at city hall.

They contacted Jordan City Hall on Thursday, Sept. 7 to report the find.

Heimatfest activities begin tonight with the car cruise and street dance, and resume tomorrow for the parade in downtown Jordan at 11 a.m. and activities going on throughout the day at Lagoon Park.
