2024 Columbia Heights Jamboree Treasure Hunt

Today is the start of the Jamboree! There is a treasure to be found, we must agree. No digginf or climbing are required to complete the task, take this time to relax.

Columbia Heights stands proud and strong, stay inside her borders and you can't go wrong.

North, South, East or West, public land is your best bet,

"Nothing Gold Can Stay", nothing young or nothing old.

Remember not to dig or climb on this adventuress find, be kind and courteous to the neighbors in public places you will go.

While you are out and about searching for the treasure please remember to meet and greet your fellow huntes, as this is all about the memories, and the moments together.

It's been 20 years since the medallion hunts reprise
Over the years there have been many clues that would make you want to scratch your eyes.
Our aim is to keep you on track to the ultimate prize, ultimately to the place where the medallion lies.

So it's day tow and as you look for the golden treasure

Note; Do not look in the McKenna park wooden retaining wall on the far east side of the wall near the series of shortest wooden posts near the end wall as it's not hidden there.

Who on earth does not love a parade?
A parade is a most unique situation where you wave at the people that are going by in a procession waving at you.
The age old comment, don't rain on my parade is in full effect in this hunt.
But when it rains, the water has to go somewhere don't you know.
Eventually the rainwater pools and runs into retaining ponds around the community.
So with that please eliminate searching for the medallion in any public place that doesn't have a body of water near it.
