2016 River Falls Days Medallion Hunt

Welcome again to River Falls Days
And "Adventures on the Kinni".
There'll be dances, parades, carnival rides --
Adventures all great, not mini!
And then there's the medallion hunt,
A contest enjoyed by many.
The medallion is square and made of wood.
It's not plastic or gold or tinny.

The medallion is hidden, but in plain sight.
No digging or climbing required.
And remember that it's always on public land,
So don't hunt through your neighbor's briars.
Clues will be posted in Heritage Park every other hour.
#250 will be your reward if a button you've acquired.

River Falls is known as a beautiful city.
With its river, tree-filled streets, and gardens so pretty.
Its a great town for walking, and it's Bike Friendly too.
A Bird City, a Playful City, a Tree City -- to name a few.
Just look at the plaques hung up around town.
And you'll see River Falls is a city of renown.

Six clues today, two tomorrow if you need them.
This clue may not help much, but it will help some.
Be adventurous! Get out! Go see the dam.
Should it be out, or should it be in?
Have some food, have fun, go ride the tilt-a-whirl.
Listen to bands, let's go, dance and twirl.
See the parks! Explore! Get to know your city!
