The 2017 Kaposia Days Medallion Hunt!

Clues will be given out two times per day, 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., beginning June 19, 2017. Clues can be picked up at Car and Credit Connection located at 902 North Concord Street in South St. Paul. The last set of clues will be handed out on June 23, 2017 and the Medallion Hunt will end either when the Medallion is found or at 5:30 p.m. on June 23, 2017, whichever comes first. The person(s) that finds the Medallion must bring the Medallion to Car and Credit Connection right away to claim the prize. Do not wait to notify us if you find the Medallion!

The winner of the Medallion Hunt will receive an official “I found the Kaposia Days Medallion” t-shirt, an option of riding in the Kaposia Days parade, and a cash prize of $250 if the finder has a Kaposia Days button. If the finder does not have a Kaposia Days button, the cash prize portion will be $100.

All Medallion hunters MUST follow the rules of the contest. The Medallion will be hidden on public land in the City of South St. Paul. The Medallion will NOT be on or in a body of water, on top of a building, up a tree, on a steep cliff/hill/bluff, underground, indoors, inside anything electrical or something that is locked. No digging instruments will be needed to find the Medallion. Be safe! Search, don’t destroy!

The hunt may be discontinued if people are found using shovels, rakes, or anything else that may damage city property. The hunt may be discontinued at any time if public property is being destroyed or if hunters are on private property.

Good luck and happy Kaposia Days!
