We throw on our sorrels, parkas, choppers to put them to test;

After 14 clues the medallion was found in the snow at Sand Creek Park between the skating rink and the trail junction to the south. For those interest below you will see a description on the clues.

​With a fruit golden yellow and shaped like a pear,
An unusual taste best in jam if you dare;
These days it is best if you carefully travel by foot,
A November wind was the cause of a change to take root.

Quince tree has a fruit that is golden yellow which most do not like the taste of. Name of parallel street to Sand Creek Park. The second part references the back entrances are closed and the Park Bond Referendum which made the improvements to the park possible.

Next to this place groomed a star with the Cats;
Children’s Carnival is today at Sand Creek Elementary School,
For games, prizes and crafts and a magician who can fool.

Former major leaguer Dan Johnson played little league baseball at Sand Creek. He was named MVP of the Pacific Coast League while playing for the Sacramento River Cats. The Sand Creek School reference was just where the Carnival happen to be.

Super Bowl reference on the day of the game, with Casey Jones telling you to take the East tracks at the junction. Last lines were in reference to an old friend who's standard guess was always Kennedy Park.

About the new light at Redwood into the park and Dan Cole (the common man-who grew up in Coon Rapids always referencing 13 and 14 this and that). Old entrance roads are 113th and 114th.Second part references Stan "the man" Allen who's family home was across Northdale at the old entrance to the park and who was very active in the Little League and CRAA.

This clue references the line up area when the 4th of July parade used to start here, second line is 'sand" , third softball swings, and finally the fireworks.

This clue is in reference to Field #3 Harmon, although after I posted it I found a different layout of Sand Creek where this was Field #4 (sorry, not sure which one is correct.) Kirby-center field of course. Great Chili Challenge by the way.

Final clues would have put you up at the trail intersection above the pond and talked of the ground level trail lights. By Sunday I think even Brent could have found it. I hope you had fun.
