Stillwater / Lumberjack Days buttons on sale

Submitted by Administrator on

Attention, treasure hunters! The 2010 Stillwater Lumberjack Days button is now on sale.

This year’s button, designed by Stillwater Area High School student Ragan Sovell, depicts a caricature of a lumberjack and his wife.

To collect the full $1,000 prize in the Lumberjack Days treasure hunt, the finder must wear a button.

The first clue will be read at the Washington County Historic Courthouse, 101 W. Pine St., during the talent show July 21. Remaining clues will be read at the U.S. Bank Plaza in downtown Stillwater at 3 p.m. each day.

Buttons can be purchased for $3 at the Warden’s House Museum, the Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce, Stillwater City Hall and downtown Stillwater businesses; all proceeds from button sales go to the Washington County Historical Society.

Lumberjack Days are July 21-25.
