Your input is needed on eight wintry designs, ranging from nimble ice skaters to grinning snowmen, vying for a place on next year’s St. Paul Winter Carnival button. The entries are the handiwork of students and graduates from the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul.
A panel of judges will select the winning design, to be announced Dec. 1 at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory.
On the Web: See the designs at twincities.com or winter-carnival.com. Send feedback to buttons@winter-carnival.com.
Winter Carnival: Jan. 23 to Feb. 3 (two days longer than usual) with most activities at Rice Park. It will coincide with the U.S. Figure Skating Championships at the Xcel Energy Center.
How to buy a button: Sales begin Dec. 1. Prices are $5 for one and $18 for the four-pack.
