Tom Leonard, King Boreas LXXXII, and Jilla Nadimi, Aurora, Queen of Snows, led their Royal Family and friends through the streets of St. Paul on Saturday followed by marching bands, floats, a bouncing girl and others as they paraded along Seventh Street from the Smith High Bridge to Rice Park.

The Winter Carnival continues through Saturday, Feb. 10, when the Vulcans hold their Victory Torchlight Parade at 5:30 p.m. and attempt to overthrow King Boreas on the library steps at 8. Will they succeed? They’ve already scheduled a Victory Dance for 8:30 p.m. that night at the InterContinental hotel.
