Mea culpa for any confusion in the location of last year's medallion hiding spot,
I incorrectly assumed that building was scheduled to be razed, but it definitely was not!
Please know that I wasn't 'lion' and I ate my humble pie with surprise;
So for the record, 'reports were greatly exaggerated of the grand old buildings' demise.'

Though it's been a repository at least twice for where the medallion has been found
There are numerous pre-existing and now new sites to select on the county fairground.
Across the avenue toward the lake, The Pearl rises majestically along the shoreline,
Just an easy stroll to the Lakeside Ballroom, a popular place to dance and dine.

Closer to downtown, the Grandstay Hotel and Suites completes "the Glenwood Triangle"
Where you can get lost in the luxury of a hot tub, pool - or just let your feet dangle
While sitting on the public dock, losing tract of time and space soakin' up lake livin'
A perfect combination of creature comforts, set in an ambiance that is truly God-given.

The medallion could certainly be hidden near or among any aforementioned plot --
Just a reminder or instruction for those new to this game, of where it definitely is not.
No need to trespass upon private residential property, dig, or do any type of demolition;
Use deductive reasoning from aired/online/or posted clues, or rely on your own intuition.

The boundaries remain the city limits, which is expanding west by future annexation
To include the knoll in our suburb Long Beach, site of the DNR Fisheries administration.
Relax, you needn't screen every square inch as you canvass the 5.86 square mile area total
How you get there is up to you - walk, bike, blade, or drive, transportation is multi-modal.

Waterama week's activities are eagerly anticipated like a favorite garden perennial
But 2016 will mark a hopefully year long celebration of Glenwood/Pope Counties sesquicentennial!
Also this year is a Glenwood High School all school reunion held at Central Square
So make an effort to attend - you (and your classmates) will be gald YOU were there!
