The Litchfield Watercade Royalty plans to hold a book drive in Central Park 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday.
Books received during the drive will go toward a new program called Little Green Libraries, which will be scattered throughout Litchfield for the public to use. Little libraries are small houses that hold books for residents to borrow to read.
If you would like to sponsor one of the Little Green Libraries this summer for $100, contact Sharaya Hagen at 612-756-4077. Sponsorship is open to businesses and residents.
