Eight young women are competing to become this year’s Miss Litchfield, along with two princesses.
The coronation ceremony is July 10, the final day of Litchfield's annual Watercade celebration. Admission is $5 for the 7 p.m. event at Bernie Aaker Auditorium on North Holcombe Avenue.
Later this month, the Independent Review will publish a Watercade special section to include profiles on each candidate, along with stories and schedules on Watercade events.
