The 2020 St. Paul Winter Carnival Junior Royalty was announced on Jan. 4. The court of the 2020 St. Paul Winter Carnival Junior Royalty was announced on Saturday: Jonathan Rowan, 15, of South St. Paul, is King Frost; Lauren Foss, 14, of Burnsville, is Queen of the Snowflakes; Noah Quiggle, 12, of St. Paul — the son of Megan Quiggle, Prime Minister of the 2019 Royal Family of the St. Paul Winter Carnival — is Prince of Ice and Snow; Cadence Cooper, 12, of Vadnais Heights, is Princess of Ice; and Grace Westpfahl, 15, of South St. Paul, is Princess of Snow.

As members of the Junior Royalty court, these volunteers will serve as goodwill ambassadors for the St. Paul Winter Carnival, the St. Paul Festival and Heritage Foundation and the City of St. Paul during their one-year term. The program is open to youth ages 12-15.

The St. Paul Winter Carnival is Jan. 23 through Feb. 2.
