Don't get bogged down in the depths when out on your search,
A good place for your boat after fishing sunfish or perch;
The name's source seems a mystery or so we are told,
Maybe once was a swamp or pond if we dare be so bold.

The official meaning of the clue.

The name of Moor Park is a bit of a mystery to me. Some of the descriptions of the word Moor are a bog or dry swamp, or a place to tie or moor your boat. My thoughts are original the area was boggy before housing development happen.

Clue 8

A rectangular shape forms a large protective screen,
And on it is labeled this number you've seen;
And right off the trail a tool box of sorts,
Wrapped in grey duct tape is the winning passport.

The official meaning of the clue.

Final clue refers to backstop with number 2 on it, medalion near trail right by field equipment box.
Medalion was found on Tuesday morning, days earlier than I anticipated, a little detective work would have placed you in Moor Park but it is a large park. There were no tracks in the deep hard snow so medalion was near trail. Made an indention in the snow and placed a large snow/ice chunk over it. Rain and warm weather may have uncovered it. Thank you for being a part of our celebration. Reminder that next year is our 60th anniversary of the Coon Rapids Snowflake Days celebration.
