Clue 1

It’s the return of the Festival right here in Blaine
And it's another medallion and more the same
Don't dig or damage when looking for treasure
Instead find a place that brings many pleasure

The official meaning of the clue.

Lays out basic ground rules. “right here in Blaine” can be interpreted vaguely as saying the treasure is in the same place as other Festival events.

Are you hunting for treasure because you are broke?
Then get out and look by a thousand oaks
And if you believe in hunt contradictions
It might also be good to stick to traditions

The official meaning of the clue.

The billboard very near the treasure site has the number 091347. The City of Thousand Oaks, California has the zip code of 91347. The word contradictions refers to the Mary Young Senior Center. Naming a senior center after someone with the last name Young would certainly be a contradiction. Sticking to traditions refers to the fact the Festival is held in the same park to which the medallion is hidden.

Have you been thirsty in this Blazin' heat?
You don't have to go far for a quenching treat
Avoid where the crowds will congregate
And move in the direction of where people are late

Do our clues have you in a state of confusion?
Remember to drink and get infusion
Be safe and use common sense
And look for a word in the present tense

The official meaning of the clue.

The references to thirst make reference to the nearby water tower. Avoiding where the crowds will congregate means to avoid the carnival area. The direction where people are late would mean to move towards Hwy 10. State of confusion would be, in this case, fog, making reference to Fogerty Arena. A word in the present tense makes reference to the Dean’s Does billboard very near the treasure site.

Graver and Carley put their stamp on the city
For some people said it was oh-so pretty
The surrounding land is named in kind
It is here the treasure sits and waits for the find

It might be good to get controversial
As our government has made many reversals
With the end in sight and clear to see
It's all as easy as 1,2,3

The official meaning of the clue.

Graver and Carley were heavily involved in the construction of the water tower in the park. “Getting controversial” makes reference to the fact you will want to be close to the wall at the southern border of the park if you want to find the treasure. Using 1,2, and 3 is making reference to the three baseball fields.

Still in the dark as to the medallion park?
Aquatore stands tall and hits the mark
Head towards the ballfields and billboard hole
The Thousand Oaks zip plays a major role

Head toward the birch not far from the fields
In a big clump of grass the treasure yields
Thanks for playing, we hope you had fun
And for at least a year you'll be the one

The official meaning of the clue.

Spells out the location of the medallion at Aquatore Park.
