Let's Dance More in '24 is the theme of the weekend
We hope for good weather for this year's event
Get your feet moving with dancing and searching as well
For the medallion that's hidden in the clues that I tell
Will you Tap Dance down sidewalks or Boogie down streets?
You can look high or low as you march to the beat
It won't be underground, and no digging required
After all that dancing around, I'm sure you'll be tired
This movement to music will stay within city limits
It's on public property with only the sky's the limit

You need proper footwear for both searching and dancing
Just keep moving and don't let your body stay standing
Your feet may lead you on pavement and dirt
Watch your step, be careful, and do not get hurt
Dancing connects Stories, cultures, and song
In fact, I don't think there's a way to dance wrong
The art of dance can be wonderful exercise for all ages
Whether you're an expert or your skill set in dancing ranges
From beginner to intermediate, or even advanced
You could learn Hip Hop, or Jazz, or even Tap Dance

Dancing is Organic, always just go with the beat
The music and rhythm will communicate with your feet
It is a universal language that speaks for itself
So dust off those dancing shoes and take them down from the shelf
The oldest evidence of dance dates back 9,000 years
Some people even choose to major in dance for careers
There are Indigenous origins, as well as in Argentina and Italy
Hip Hop dance even emerged in the Bronx, New York City
Breakdancing will be featured as an official Olympic Sport in 2024
So get out there and showcase your own moves on the floor

You can dance on the grass and feel it tickle your feet
Or dance under trees and let leaves shade you from heat
The nature of dance is as diverse as the earth all around
And as rich as the soil that covers the ground
Dancing is wonderful for both health and for spirit
If you listen for the music, you might just be able to hear it
You can dance with a Purpose or just dance for fun
Or dance until sunrise when a new day has begun
There is dancing at weddings, Pow Wows, in studios and on stages
The best part about dancing is that it's Meant for all ages

Will you Cha-Cha down Cedar street, or Polka down Pine?
Perhaps Ballroom Dancing along Birch will look especially fine
Each type of dance has its Own set of moves
Trying out a few different styles may get you in the groove
Step quick and step lively, and look around as you dance
Stopping as needed to take a Closer glance
You could find a partner to Salsa down Spruce Street as well
Dancing with others seems more fun I can tell
Next street is Ogechie, and no dance rhymes with that proper noun
Just don't go too far or you'll dance right out of the town

Clue 6

Today's the last day, and this hunt has never lasted this long
I always seem to write clues that never seem to go wrong
I have always ABSOLUTELY enjoyed giving you clues
This year's theme about dancing really allowed me to choose
To include facts and information about the great sport of dance
And today is the last clue and your very last chance
Leave NO stone unturned, no hiding spot unsearched
Go past Cedar, then Pine, and three streets past Birch
Hurry down the sideroad, now is the time to rush
There should be no need to avoid any tree clippings or BRUSH
