Marley King and his brother, Scott, found the Medallionator Treasure at about 11:20am on July 30, after 10 clues in the weeds at Marthaler Park. The treasure was hidden in a clearing about 5 feet off of the curb on Humboldt street, about a foot in from the edge of the weeds along the eastern edge of Marthaler Lake. "We had been looking for clumps of grass all morning" said Marley King. Marley's brother Scott is actually the one that turned the clump of grass over and saw the Malboro cigarette box that the treasure was hidden in. "I saw the clump of grass and just turned it over and it just popped out" said Scott, who is also a veteran treasure hunter.

The second verse refers to the song "Life is Like" by the music group "The Suburbs", tipping off hunters that the treasure is hidden in a suburb, West Saint Paul.

For someone reading this clue for the first time it may seem obvious that this clue is referring to Highland Park, as this clue was used in the 1994 Winter Carnival Hunt. But for one paying close attention, the clue refers to the hills at Marthaler Park. Because the treasure was not hidden on one of the hills, you could SEE elevated terrain from the treasure site but you did not want to SEEK it.

Refers to both the tornado siren and the fire/police vehicles, which are near the treasure site. The word LOOK was used in this carefully worded clue because only the tornado siren is visible and you need to LOOK for police cars or fire trucks passing by.

The second line of the second verse reminds treasure hunters that safety is "stat", which is a medical term for "most important or urgent". The last line is key as "harlem rat" is an anagram for "Marthaler".
