Litchfield Watercade Schedule 2022

Chris Woelfel, Ellie Wood, 13, and Gia Woelfel, 11, worked on their sand sculpture masterpiece — a boat adorned with a Dragon’s head — during the Watercade sand sculpture contest at Lake Ripley, The Woelfel-Wood team captured first place in their division.

Watercade Princess Abby Johnson leads a conga line that includes the Miss Litchfield candidates during Friday night’s beach party.

Boats wait to be released at the start of the Watercade fishing tournament on Lake Ripley. The lake on the south end of Litchfield is a popular destination for locals, as well as vacationers, who enjoy fishing, swimming and sunning on the beach.
