Change is afoot — with new names in the game,
Top the Tater now proudly carries the name.
New minds craft the clues, new prizes await,
With contests and fun you won’t want to be late. 🤯
So gather your wits, let the treasure hunt start —
The first clue is dropped... now go play your part.
✨1️⃣✨
A tower’s been touched, fresh paint in the air,
Near creamy beginnings with buttery flair.
Since nineteen fourteen, a promise well-made,
A cow’s quiet whisper where memories stay.
The official meaning of the clue.

Hinting at Kemps' plant and heritage, drawing them toward the Kuchera area. Buttery flair also hints at the merger that paired Kemps with Marigold Butter

Clue 2 – A Path Less Traveled
The beds will be racing, the boots will go down,
With bingo and brews lighting up this small town.
But don’t miss what’s new — it’s truly first-rate:
Win Top the Tater for a year? That’s a top-shelf fate.
Head where the sun greets the day with a smile,
East is the answer, not west by a mile.
Blacktop runs out, then splits like a dream,
With choices ahead near water’s gleam.
The official meaning of the clue.

Encourages exploration east of the Kemps area, teasing at Marigold's path forks.

Clue 3 - A Warning and a Wink
Stay far from the steps that lead you to nowhere,
They're tricky and tempting — but empty of flair.
The water is cold, though beauty surrounds,
Stick to the path where good comes around.
Where petals might point and soft colors gleam,
A golden name hides more than it may seem.
The official meaning of the clue.

Tells the hunter to stay away from Kuchera Park as the steps are not where the medallion will be found . The cold water really means that if you're thinking of Kuchera Park, you're cold in the hunt! The petals and points are referencing the golden name Marigold!

Clue 4 - Not Quite There
You’re close to the tower, but this isn’t the spot,
The cream of the crop? Not quite what you thought.
Look further along where the bikers do roll,
Toward benches and bridges that quietly console.
What’s hidden may wait where wanderers peek,
A small, secret prize for those who still seek.
The official meaning of the clue.

This keeps the mystery while gently introducing the idea of “Marigold” without saying it outright. Hidden prize also refers to the digital geocache that's located on the same sign post.

Clue 5 - The Playful Place
A barn that's not real, but painted in red,
A white foot bridge where little feet tread.
The playground blooms where bright flowers unfold,
And the name of this park is a hint made of gold.
Sit for a while where benches align,
One bears a motto that’s stood the test of time.
Among blooms and branches, small secrets may hide —
Like treasures long lost, just tucked to the side.
The official meaning of the clue.

This gently ties in the Kemps “Good Comes Around” bench without being too overt, keeping the hunt fun but focused. The blooms and branches refer to the nature sign just off the walking path.

Clue 6 - The Final Fork
Two benches await, side by side in their rest,
A red roof above marks the end of your quest.
East of the sun and north of the cream,
Where “Good Comes Around” isn’t just a dream.
Bring snacks if you’d like, this spot’s built to stay —
A perfect place for a picnic in the middle of play.
Face to the west where the pathway bends,
Let gentle clues and quiet signs guide your friends.
