Winter Walk kicks off TOMORROW with the start of the Winter Walk Ornament Hunt! Get ready to jump into Winter Walk week with one of Northfield’s most beloved traditions. A special framed Winter Walk ornament will be hidden somewhere on public property within the city limits—and the FIRST clue drops tomorrow (Monday, December 8th) at 8am! New clues will follow each morning through Thursday, December 11th (Winter Walk day!) or until the ornament is found.
What to know before you start hunting:
Open to everyone (winner must be 18+). No cost—completely FREE to play! Ornament won’t be buried, hidden in décor, or require digging. No metal detectors allowed. Please be respectful—any property damage forfeits the prize. If you find it, call Jane Bartho at 612-816-6681 right away to verify. Winner must agree to a public announcement. Prize: $1,000 in Chamber Buck Gift Certificates!Clues will be shared by 95.1 The One (KYMN Radio), Northfield News, and the Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism.
