King Boreas, Vulcanus Rex and the rest of the royal family were in Rice Park on Wednesday, Nov. 28, to unveil the 2013 Winter Carnival buttons.

The four designs are on sale at Cub Stores, SuperAmerica and other retailers. The carnival also sells the buttons on its website, winter-carnival.com. Buttons are $5 apiece or $19 for a full set. The 127th St. Paul Winter Carnival runs from Jan. 24-Feb. 3, with most events happening in downtown St. Paul.
