St. Paul Winter Carnival Senior Royalty

Here they are: the new Senior Royalty of the 2014 St. Paul Winter Carnival. Greg Pluff was crowned King Winter the 56th, and Gerry Schulz was crowned Queen of the Northlands during a ceremony at the Paul and Sheila Wellstone Center in St. Paul on Wednesday. The royal winners will represent senior citizens, the city of Saint Paul and the Winter Carnival. They will embark on a year-round schedule of attending community festivals, parades and special events, along with visiting seniors at health care facilities and senior centers.
