Done with your Christmas tree for the season? The St. Paul Winter Carnival says don’t toss it, donate it.
Carnival organizers are looking to line the walks of Rice Park in downtown St. Paul with pines during the winter celebration, from Jan. 27 to Feb. 6, and are asking for used trees to do it.
While you’re loading up the tree, think about donating strings of white lights. The carnival is looking for those, too.
