The 2013 Vulcan Krewe invited a Pioneer Press reporter to run along with them Tuesday, Jan. 29, during the St. Paul Winter Carnival as they work to shed a debaucherous reputation.
“We’re all professional men. Three of us are in law enforcement. In our jobs, we take care of people. Why would we get involved in something that would ruin our professional lives?” Vulcanus Rex the 76th said.
