The 2014 Winter Carnival buttons were unveiled Saturday morning at the Grand Meander on Grand Avenue in St. Paul.

The four designs were created by Chad Peterson, a local freelance artist and longtime Winter Carnival Ice Carving Contest competitor. Peterson has won several ice carving competitions in the team and individual categories. He designed the buttons for the 2013 Winter Carnival.

Buttons are $5 each or $19 for the collector’s pack of all four images. Buttons will be available at Super America and local retailers and at winter-carnival.com. The 128th St. Paul Winter Carnival will be Jan. 23-Feb. 2.
