Winter Carnival music lineup includes eight days of free outdoor concerts

The St. Paul Winter Carnival will host eight days of free outdoor concerts at Kellogg Mall Park along with a few indoor musical events for those seeking a respite from the cold.

Here’s a look at what’s on tap at Kellogg Mall Park:

  • Jan. 24: Billy Johnson (5 p.m.), Beer Choir Twin Cities (6:30).
  • Jan. 25: The Plott Hounds (5 p.m.), Tim Sigler (7:30).
  • Jan. 26: Bryce Hegge (11 a.m.), Dirty Shorts Brass Band (1:30 p.m.), Ben Johnson (4), Shannon Curfman (7:30).
  • Jan. 27: St. Paul Jazz Band (11 a.m.), the Art Department (12:30 p.m.), Dirty Shorts Brass Band (3:15).
  • Jan. 31: Joe Carey (4:30 p.m.), Averil Bach (5:10), Jim Stapley (5:50), Lacey Guck (6:30), Static Panic (7:30).
  • Feb. 1: Jeff Ray (4:30 p.m.), Nate Hanson (5:10), Lakewood Cemetery (5:50), Nick Hensley (6:30), the ’70s Magic Sunshine Band (7:30).
  • Feb. 2: Will Bauermeister (11 a.m.), Billy Johnson (1:30 p.m.), Yam Haus (4), Ryan Liestman (5:30), Martin Zeller (7:30).
  • Feb. 3: Entertainment to be announced.

Other Winter Carnival music events include:

  • Jan. 26: Klondike Kate Cabaret and Royal Guards’ Rock The Palace at Saint Paul Hotel (6:30 p.m.). Tickets are $17 in advance and $20 at the door and are available at klondikekates.org.
  • Jan. 27: The St. Paul Civic Symphony performs a free concert at the Landmark Center (2 p.m.).
  • Jan. 29: The Landmark Center hosts Frozen Family Fun Night with live entertainment and skating (5 p.m.).
