The climatological timing was impeccable.

St. Paul had been in a deep freeze, but the weather warmed up spectacularly in time for Saturday night’s downtown Vulcan Victory Torchlight Parade that ushered the 2019 St. Paul Winter Carnival to completion.

We suspect Vulcanus Rex had something to do with the balmy weather …
