Good Luck to All

Well Folkes, another Shamrock Medallion Hunt is in the books. Team Jordan, we call them Team Jordan now, Steven Beckman and Jeremy Heitkamp found the Shamrock Medallion under the scoreboard at the softball park, across from the Bowling Alley shortly after the posting of the 3rd clue.
What got Team Jordan to the hiding spot? The clue ground zero brought them to the down town area, mainly because everyone else was looking in that area, some clues brought them to the swimming pool area. Love equals zero, light the lamps, there were tennis court and hockey boards in that area at one time. Then Team Jordan regrouped and went back to the drawing board. When they read the clued Good Lord, you cant be board, board being spelled board rather then bored, it got them thinking score board.
That being said, they first headed to the score board at Tiger Park. They thought the clue, I’m all knotted up, might mean the Ivy that growns on the fence there. With no luck looking there and scoreboard still on their mind, they read the clue out of the blocks, the block and tile is just down the street. Then when reading music on paper is a score, and set of twenty is a score, they headed to the score board at the softball park. Once there, thier was a clue that said hit the bricks, there was a stack of bricks under the scoreboard. After a brief search the medallion was in their hands.
Other clues that may have lead them there, there were many references to the word score, par, love equals zero, goal eagle, touchdown, light the lamps, stones in the house, bullseye, condor, kill, sprint, jog and dash were references to the word run.
Don’t get towed was reference to Erves Sinclair which had a tow service years ago.
Fifteen thousand six hundred yen is about one hundred dollars which is the prize.
Cambria has an advertisement on the scoreboard, the clue enter the dragon, Cambria has a dragon in their logo.
Witts Hits did Karaoke in the bars years ago. Years ago there was some softball players, Witt being their last name who hit a ton of home runs at this softball park.
Rose O’Reilly was the mom in the movie “We’re the Millers” The Millers own the bowling alley across the street.
Congratulations to Team Jordan for their success and thanks to everyone who participated in the hunt.
Next Hunt in late June.

St Patrick's Day is here, that time of year, lots to look for,
Medallions and Leprechauns, put on your long johns, so hear me roar.
Follow the rules, this time no schools, It narrow the field a bit,
Easy to get immersed, try head first, who has the most wit?
Up to Par, come as you are, you’re the beer in my pint,
Kilty as charged, living large, nothing rhymes with pint!
Wishing you a pot of gold and all the joy your heart can hold,
Love equals zero, Cheer-E-O, money in your billfold.
Persue if you will, go for the kill, green beer and St. Paddy’s Day Cheer,
The Leprechaun made me do it, stick to the skit, so get it in gear!
A Glut of Hints, make it a sprint, a stones throw,
Miss Shamrock class, a fine Irish Lass, you’re in the know.
Oh Good Lord, you cant be board, the Jig is up,
Not for the meek, continue the streak, bring the pup.
Team USA, what can I say, the Boldy Goal.
Minnesota Wild, put on a smile, food for the soul.
Raining Shamrocks, out of the blocks, just who will it be?
Spondoolies to give, right where you live, it could be me!
Erin Go Braugh, I’m in awe, I sit at ground zero,
The challenge is true, try something new, be my hero.

Clue number two, this one’s for you, a need to report,
Memory lane, enter my domain, let’s make this short.
Irish kisses and shamrock wishes, bring your eagle eyes,
Lucky, blessed and all the rest, focus on the prize.
Go for a jog, I’m a Mog, good as gold,
A nest of vipers, come listen to the pipers, this never gets old.
Increasing amounts, tension mounts, green beer and St. Paddy’s cheer,
All systems go, to and fro, I give the all clear.
I’m all knotted up, bring the pup, may your heart be as light as a song,
Touchdowns, leaps and bounds, your Irish Charm is going strong.
The Clans are near, Heritage so pure, the day is at hand,
Soothing to know, this love overflows our St. Patrick’s Day Brand.
Here I camp, light the lamps, as glad as the shamrocks,
Stones in the house, bring your spouse, it aint Fort Knox.
Back and forth, south of the north, fewest and most,
Fifteen thousand six hundred Yen, a perfect ten, purpose a toast.
Solving is the key, dwell in possibility, Irish you were mine,
May the lilt of Irish laughter, lift all the way to the rafters, your time to shine.

Clue 3``

Circle the wagon, enter the dragon, set your goals high,
Plenty of clout, down for the count, I’m in the bulls eye.
Green a plenty, set of twenty, it’s all that counts,
The darling buds of May, only shades of gray, check the accounts.
Music on a sheet, greet and meet, make it a dash,
with you at the helm, this famous OZ film, gets you to the cash.
Let’s go back a bit, “Witts Hits”, hail to our local stars,
Track me down, until I’m found, get out of the bars.
Enter my lair, shanks mare, should be your mode,
Culchies galore, foot in the door, don’t get towed.
Wigs on the green, keep it clean, avoid the donut shop,
Chance the arm, me Lucky Charms, put on your be bop.
I’ll be fine, crossing the line, enter the wee people,
Among the mix, hit the bricks, chase the steeple.
You get a smiley, Rose O’Reilly, painting the town green,
Find my Lucky Charm, cause no harm, just what do you mean?
Be aware, things to compare, running the numbers,
Time to explore, like a Condor, wake me from my slumber.
