2025 Blaine Festival Medallion Hunt

Clue Schedule

  1. Clue #1 and #2 will be posted at NOON and 4:30PM on Thursday, June 26 on the BlaineParks.com and BlaineFestival.org websites.  
  2. Clue #3 will be posted at 10AM on Friday, June 27.
  3. Clue #4 will be posted at 10AM on Saturday, June 28.
  4. Clue #5 (Final Clue) will be posted at 10AM on Sunday, June 29.

Where is the Medallion Hidden?

In one of Blaine's 65 parks. It will be easy!  Park maps are available at the Park and Recreation office or visit BlaineParks.com/ParkMap and print a copy.

What is the Prize for Finding the Medallion?

A $500 Cash Prize from Magnifi Financial.

Medallion Hunt Rules

  • The medallion is hidden above the ground, but could be under leaves, branches and other things lying on the ground. Do not dig underground!
  • The Medallion is not hidden higher than five (5) feet, so please do not climb on park trees.
  • Please be careful around shrubs so they do not get damaged.
  • The Medallion is hidden in a City Park, please do not search on private property.
  • Parks are closed from 10PM to 5AM, please search during daylight hours.
  • Please use the parking lots provided in each park and drive no further into the parks.

It’s time for Festival ‘25
We hope you are all feeling well and alive!
Speaking of numbers, avoid first clue slumber
By finding the power and a hint of the Mayflower

The official meaning of the clue.

The first two lines just greet treasure hunters. The third line indicates that avoiding inaction can be good if you figure out that the power pole at the entrance to the park has 1620 on it, the year the Mayflower arrived.

The official meaning of the clue.

Don’t give up your spot would mean you are being territorial. Your initial thought of a pilot of fiction would be HM Murdock, the insane pilot on the A-Team, one of your clue writer's all time favorite shows. The treasure is near a sign that says HM.

The official meaning of the clue.

A possessive person would be considered TERRITORIAL. The treasure is hidden at territorial park. Several streets and an elementary school are named after Presidents in the neighborhood. And lastly, there are tennis and pickelball courts in the park.

Avoid private property at all costs
And hunt as if the treasure was lost

The official meaning of the clue.

Avoiding the dark should alert hunters the treasure is not in the woods, but rather out in the open. Hunting as if the treasure was lost should indicate to hunt in an area such as tall grass, where something could be easily lost.
