2018 Byron Good Neighbor Days Medallion Hunt

In our small town there are few places to hide
But you know that I will keep you in stride
As you seek, here I will lay
Enjoying the sun (or rain) today

This place is peaceful, at least right here
Just down the road, the kids could be near
They are laughing and playing, there is so much to do
Very soon you will say “their time here just flew!”

Across the way decisions are made
I also know a few movies were played
Here I enjoy the beauty it holds
Where the birds will chirp and flowers unfold

I’m still waiting, did you work on your stride?
Two wheeled vehicles I also see ride
So many are running by this grassland
Enjoy nature reserved, this place where you stand

I’m still here? just go for a walk!
Look in from the corner, the flowers they flock
Work on the bars, whatever your speed
The school and the city surround me I see
