2026 Columbia Heights Jamboree Medallion Hunt

Well, well, well, here we go again, it's Jamboree time.

The Todd Estrem Tasty Pizza Medallion Hunt is upon us.

This year we also celebrate the countries 250th year of independence from Great Britain as well.

The City of Hilltop is surrounded on all sides by The City of Columbia Heights.

Much like the City of Centerville is surrounded on all sides by the City of Lino Lakes.

None of the above cities have a wall separating them.

There is also no longer a wall where a soon to be Rich person or a person named Rich could Look for this medallion.
 

Clue two for you.

We will try to make these clues as sanskrit as possible, so much so a XV year old Lila could solve it.

While hunting be mindful of being XOC with others.

And perhaps most importantly, go out and have the day you deserve while we celebrate this most wonderful community.
 

Did you know the country of France aided the 13 original colonies in gaining independence from Great Britain some 250 years ago.

The country of France also gave the United States the Statue of Liberty.

France is one of the few countries that is gaining in woodlands, while most countries are gaining in farmland.

In a disagreement being loud doesn't make you right especially when the French ones acquire your sandy beach claim.

Did you know that Todd was very enthusiastic about experimental flight?

He even owned one of those paragliding aircraft. You know, the ones with the lawnmower engine and fan on it.

When a plane takes off from one of the specific runways at the Minneapolis St Paul International airport the pilots use Central

Avenue as a navigation aid.
 

Did you know that the 1975 signature song, "Never been any reason" by the band Head East could be their most famous song.

Also did you know that the country of Canada, our neighbor to the north, is divided up by 10 Provinces and three territories.

The Canadian Provinces are as follows, Ontario, Qubec, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Foundland and Labrador.

The three Territories are named Yukon which is located in the Northwest part of Canada, Northwest Territories, which are located in the Northern most parts of Canada, and finally Nunavut which is the most easterly Canadian Territories.

So captain obvious, hunt to the east.

As the medallion rules of engagement articulate that it may be hidden in plan view, on any public lands where you will not have to dig or climb, this clue serves as a way to direct your hunt. There are millions of public places it could be hidden and we hide it in a manner so it can be found if you know where to look. Every person who has found it over the many decades of this hunt has figured out where it could be and then when they found it, all of the clues came together.
 

What about this parade tonight? A unique experience where you could wave at the groups of people, whom are promoting their position or group, passing by, waving at you.

The medallion can not be found anywhere near the parade route.

Many of the streets on the east side of the community are sequency named after past presidents, patterned after North East Minneapolis's street system. But some of them have been skipped and or omitted. One example of this is President Carter. President Carter's Vice President was Walter Mondale, who at that time lived in North Oaks Minnesota, which is also located north east of Columbia Heights.

The Brady Bunch television show was presumably based in California, which east of Hawaii. Also Nashville Tennessee is located east Memphis which is where Elvis Presley lived. Elvis Presley and Mini Pearl held concerts in Hawaii to fundraise for the financing of the Arizonia Memorial, which is the most visited site in Hawaii. In 1985 Christie Brinkley married east coast's New York native Billy Joel.
 

Saturday, in the park, next Saturday will be the fourth of July.

By next Saturday, The Wimbledon Tennis Tournament will be taking place at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in collaboration with the Lawn Tennis Association in Wimbledon England.

The United States of American declaredr it's independence from England in 1776 in a document titled The Declaration of Independence.

This was the first Anoka County Park.

This 29 acre park has features such as a picnic area, swings, walking paths, open grassy activity areas, restrooms, and formally had a tennis court.

Look in the above grassy areas.
