The Deer River Lions welcome you
To our 77th Festival year.
The search may be hard for some.
The time to hunt is here.

It hides within the city limits,
North, South, East, and West.
If you've looked at one,
Then it's time to search the rest.

Though shoes are made for walkin'
Today will take some steps.
The medallion stretched it out this year
Your legs will get their reps.

Have you forged an alliance
Or even assembled a team?
Have you checked the area high and low
Or even in between?

Our Sunday parade is sure to please
With many familiar things.
Floats and boats, tractors and horses
Only one will make you king.

Over the years things have changed
And history is a teacher.
A sign that melds new and old
The medallion is an elusive creature.

White Oak Casino has a players club
In which many find appeal.
This club is a little different
Primarily rubber, wood, and steel.

The clue at noon revealed a lot
Though not in the first three.
Look closely at the words and letters
And soon enough you'll see.
