2024 Glenwood Waterama Medallion Hunt

Last Friday July 19th they raised high the flag to let the games begin
With athletic, creative competitions & pageantry when all the world is kin.
Yes, we’re on the cusp of the torch being passed to light the caldron in Paris, France
But in our corner of the world the light will also focus daily on displays of drama & dance.

ats off to the current brass (1st mates); vice commodore, commodore, or admiral positions
Which for nearly 7 decades displayed their leadership in orderly transitions.
The tremendous community support, board of directors, & numerous committees
All enable Waterama to function like a well-oiled machine that runs with ease.
Congratulations to the reigning Sr/Jr Royalty for your tenure in crown & gown
And thanks for your pleasant positive role modeling while representing our town.
Admiration to all Sr/Jr Royalty candidates, awaiting in the wings

veryone loves a parade & everybody loves our Marshalls, Pontoon & Grande Day
The Nestors, Sara our librarian and Kyle a 25 yr. fire department mainstay.
And the Hills, Koni & Ted, educators, who to their students have revealed
A love of learning and lifelong lessons taught in classrooms or on a soccer field.
