The 2026 Medallion has been found by this team of 3 from left to right Shelly Hedin, Cindy Johnson and Serena Johnson this Friday morning. The medallion was placed at Lions Park West in the BLUE free little library with the BENCH next to it. Inside the library, I placed a little 3M sticky plastic hook up on top and hung the medallion from it. Inside the library I had also placed Park and Trail Maps which were funded through a SHIP (State Health Improvement Partnership) grant. This park has the STRUCTURE FOR PLAY, a nice little WALK, and is in the SOUTHWEST portion of town. This morning I made the assumption many would go to Robert's Park, so I went there early and placed many bonus prizes. Shortly after the 8am clue, many cars started rolling in. All of the bonus prizes were found quickly and people were everywhere. Lots of fun! Then just before 8:30AM, this team of 3 drove up to the Lions Park West where they had searched before. Fortunately this time Cindy slid her hand across the top of the inside of the free little library and felt the medallion hanging there. She was/is so excited! I asked them to come over to Robert's Park to share their story with everyone. Another fun year with lots of bonus prizes and great conversations!
