Find the Pepper Fest Medallion and Win $250!
About the Clues:
There will be a total of 7 clues leading you to the medallion.
The first clue will be posted at 1:00pm on the Friday before Pepper Fest weekend and at 1:00pm each day thereafter.
The daily clues and updates will be posted on the Pepper Fest website and on the Pepper Fest Facebook and Instagram Stories.
Medallion Hunt Winner:
If you are the first one to find the medallion, you will win a cash prize of $250!
To claim the $250 prize, follow the directions and contact information listed on the medallion.
Winners must be 18 years of age to claim the prize. Younger hunters may help in the search for the medallion if accompanied by an adult.
The Pepper Fest Medallion Hunt winner will be awarded and recognized at Pepper Fest on Friday during Royalty + Candidate Introductions on the Main Stage.
Additional Important Rules & Notes:
PLEASE familiarize yourself with the rules of the Pepper Fest Medallion Hunt prior to hunting.
The medallion is hidden on Public Property of the Village of North Hudson or the City of Hudson. This means it is hidden in an area accessible to the public - it is NOT hidden at a residence or on private property. It is NOT hidden inside the North Hudson Village Hall.
NO disassembly or digging is required to find the medallion; which includes light fixtures, park equipment, or community gardens.
The interior of buildings and the interior of schools are considered private property.
Please research public land prior to hunting for the medallion to respect all residences and private properties.
Pepper Fest Board Members and their immediate families are not eligible to participate.
The Medallion Hunt Sponsor owner(s) and employee(s) are not eligible to participate.
The prize money, clue preparation, and contest administration are the responsibility of the North Hudson Pepper Festival.
The North Hudson Pepper Fest Board assumes no responsibility for accidents or injuries sustained by participants. Participants are urged to use reasonable safety precautions, demonstrate good sportsmanship, and follow all rules set by the North Hudson Pepper Fest Board.
The North Hudson Pepper Fest Board reserves the right to discontinue the Pepper Fest Medallion Hunt at any time.
The Pepper Fest Medallion Hunt $250 cash prize will be awarded during Pepper Fest weekend, date and time determined by the winner and the Pepper Fest Board.
In the event the hidden medallion is not found, the $250 prize will be added to the annual Pepper Fest Community Giving Grants.
