Ozzie the Owl, so quiet and wise,
Spotted the treasure with wide, bright eyes.
“Five clues!” he hooted, “That’s what I’ll need,
To find the medallion and take the lead!”

But Ozzie knew well, as owls often do,
There were rules for the hunt — he must follow them too:
“No digging or trespassing, that’s not the way,
No private land where you mustn’t stay!”

“Hmm, but if snow is down, could it be there?
Under the frost, hidden with care?”
He flapped his wings and thought, “I’ll be bold.”
“I’ll seek it out in the cold, cold cold!”

But Ozzie had a plan, and here’s what he knew,
The hunt’s just begun, with more clues to pursue.
So he spread his wings wide and soared through the air,
To the Owatonna Motor site, where fresh clues are there.

“Each day a new hint, how clever, how grand,
I’ll be one step closer to holding that brand!
I’ll sign up, of course, for the newsletter too
And get the first clue to help me through!”

A prize of $500 in Chamber Bucks,
Plus the medallion, and bragging rights — what luck!
So Ozzie, the wise one, hooted with glee,
“I’m going to find it — just wait and see!”

But if you’re hunting too, don’t forget,
The rules are there, don’t get upset:
No digging, no trespassing, stay on the ground,
But if snow is to be found, be sure to look all around.

The first clue is here — so get ready to go!
The Bold and Cold medallion Hunt starts, get in tow.
Sign up, look online, and remember this rhyme
Tomorrow’s clue will come in due time!

Good luck, brave hunters, just like Ozzie the Owl
Who’s sure to win with his keen, sharp prowl!

Clue 2

Ozzie the Owl, with feathers so bright,
Set off again in the soft morning light.
He flew through the air with a hoot and a glide,
Thinking, “The medallion’s not far, I’m sure it’s nearby!”

He had a new clue, tucked under his wing,
And it whispered to him, “The trees will sing.”
Within the city, where the woodlands grow,
There’s a place with trees in rows and rows.

The city of Owatonna, just so you know,
Has a tree canopy that stretches below,
With 150 species all around,
From towering oaks to the pines that abound.

But Ozzie, being clever, quickly understood
It’s not the trees themselves, but the space in the wood.
Near the branches that whisper and the trunks that stand tall,
You’ll find your next clue — so heed the call!

Perhaps you’ll spot a green pine’s sweet scent,
Or an ash tree’s shade where the branches are bent.
Look by the path where the leaves like to fall,
Or near the oak, with its bark standing tall.

But remember, dear hunters, the rules still apply
No trespassing, no digging, just use your eye!
The treasure is near where the trees softly grow,
But where exactly? Well, that’s for you to know!

And don’t forget, the hunt’s not through
Check the Owatonna Motor site for your next clue.
Sign up for the newsletter to get it first,
For each day brings a clue, and the hunt’s a great thirst!

So follow Ozzie’s path, and take flight in the cold,
The beloved medallion’s waiting to be bold!

Clue 3
Published Date
Thursday, January 23, 2025, 6:00 AM

Ozzie the Owl, still wise and so fleet,
Had another clue tucked under his feet.
He flapped through the air with a curious cheer,
For today’s the day to draw near, so near!

The clue was clear, it was simple and bright
"Follow the paths where feet take flight."
Not roads or streets, but ways that wind,
Through Owatonna, they’re easy to find.

Over 17 miles of walkways spread wide,
Through parks and green spaces, they twist and they slide.
They wind through the city, both near and afar,
Like hidden ribbons beneath every star.

Look for the places where people go
For a peaceful stroll or a jog in the snow.
By the lake or the creek, where the water might flow,
The medallion could be, where you’ve walked before!

Perhaps near the bend where the paths overlap,
Or the spots where benches invite you to nap.
It’s not far from the feet of the walkers you see,
Where the hidden treasure might just be.

But remember the rules, don’t stray or misstep
Stay on the paths, no trespassing yet!
No digging, no trespassing, just look with your eye
The medallion’s close, and that’s no lie!

So keep moving forward, just like Ozzie knows,
The paths are your guide, as the adventure grows.
And don’t forget, the next clue’s online
At Owatonna Motor, where answers align.

So lace up your shoes, and follow the way,
The Bold and Cold medallion is out there today!

Clue 4
Published Date
Friday, January 24, 2025, 6:00 AM

Ozzie the Owl, still soaring on high,
Had a new clue to catch his sharp eye.
He tucked it in his feathers and hooted with glee,
For this clue would lead him where few dare to be.

"Look near the places where silence runs deep,
Where secrets are buried, and the stillness will keep.
There are stones that stand tall, with names carved in time,
Marking the past, with a history so prime."

The air there is heavy, and whispers may float,
Of the ones who have passed, and the stories they wrote.
Look near the the place where the earth meets the stone,
Where memories linger, and shadows are grown.

Near the monuments proud and the statues so bold,
The medallion might rest, waiting to be told.
It’s hidden nearby where time has stood still,
In the quiet and calm, where the air seems to chill.

Ozzie thought of the ghosts, their soft voices so light,
That wander the paths in the hush of the night.
But don’t be afraid, it’s safe to explore —
Stay along the edges, and you’ll find much more.

Remember the rules: no digging or trespass,
Stay on the paths, and don’t be too brash.
Look for the stones, where the past likes to sleep,
And maybe, just maybe, the medallion you'll keep.

So keep moving forward, just like Ozzie the wise,
For the Bold and Cold medallion is hidden in disguise.
Check Owatonna Motor for the clue of the day,
And sign up for the newsletter to help lead the way!

Now go, brave hunters, and look in the hush,
The treasure’s not far, in the quiet, the rush!
