This year’s Saturday-only medallion hunt will look a little different than in previous years. Instead of a single medallion, five coins will be hidden throughout Forest Park.
The coins will be hidden at various locations throughout Forest Park at the start of the event. Clues may be provided to help guide participants, but finding a coin will require some effort and awareness.
Each participant may claim only one coin. Once a coin is found, it must be brought directly to the main stage and turned in to event staff to officially register as a finder.
After all five coins have been located and verified, the five individuals who found them will advance to the next phase: a poker run around Forest Park.
During the poker run, each participant will travel to designated checkpoints throughout the park, collecting one playing card at each stop. Once all cards are collected, participants will return to the main stage.
At the conclusion of the poker run, each participant will reveal their hand. The individual with the best poker hand will be declared the winner and awarded the medallion prize of $500.
