2019 Prior Lake Lakefront Days Medallion Hunt

Heading into its 18th year, the 2019 Prior Lake Medallion Hunt begins Saturday, July 20, 2019 with the first of six clues. A new clue is released on the home page of this site at 8 a.m. every Wednesday and Saturday through to Aug. 7. If the Medallion is not found by noon Saturday (the day of the Lakefront Days Parade on Aug. 10, 2019 it will be retrieved and the prize money rolled into next year.

Clue 1  -  Saturday, July 20
Clue 2  -  Wednesday, July 24
Clue 3  -  Saturday, July 27
Clue 4  -  Wednesday, July 31
Clue 5  -  Saturday, Aug. 3
Clue 6  -  Wednesday, Aug. 7

Clues are also published on the Prior Lake Chamber of Commerce website and the Prior Lake American Newspaper website. See "Helpful Links" at right.

The Lakefront Days Medallion is made of marble with a City Logo centered on its face (photo below). It is placed in a cardboard box and completely wrapped in duct tape, for protection. The duct tape wrap may be of any color or design including camouflage.

AND YOU WILL KNOW THE LOCATION THING.

The official meaning of the clue.

it was at the base of a tree stump next to the southern most trail which encircles the pond in the Trillium Cove Subdivision. Thus the references to trails, water and meadows. The seventh clue refers to Trillium as a plant which blooms in the spring.
