Keep your dogs on the double, confusion could cause you trouble,
On which park your journey will lead.
Amongst forests or basins which road will you be chasin'?
Your sponsor is Mizpah Lodge Masons!
The official meaning of the clue.

Keeping your "dogs on the double' is another way of saying swift of foot. Which in translation is the meaning of Kaposia. It's meant to make you think of Kaposia Park (forest) and Kaposia Landing (basin). We wanted to keep you separated but whom ever could solve the clue would be on the right road to Kaposia Park. We also give a thanks to the Mizpah Masonic Lodge #191 in SSP for sponsoring this hunt!

Placed well close to chain link, sports but there's no rink
A can of corn might help your mind think more clear.
Offering plenty of parking spots, but stay away from all the rocks,
A path will tell you the medallion is near.

The official meaning of the clue.

The medallion is placed close to the baseball chain link fence at Kaposia Park, off of a path and in the brush, There are aslo volleyball courts and a disc gold course for sports at Kaposia Park, but no hockey rink. Can of corn is a baseball reference, we wrapped the medallion in a can of corn wrapper - also, this would still have you torn between Kaposia Park and Kaposia Landing for ball fields. Stay away from the rocks refers to not down by the river/Kaposia Landing.

Solving my little riddle leads to pavement in the middle,
Which will surely bring you up to the medal.
It's Alfred's occupation, the team of hockey nation,
And the century the natives did settle.

The official meaning of the clue.

If you can solve the riddle in the second stanza, youwill get street names around Kaposia Park. Alfred (from Batman) was a "BUTLER", the Kaposia Native Americans settled here in the "19th" century, and the middle pavement/team of hockey nation is the road that goes through the midde of the park, "WILDE" (Wild). Wilde Street leads you right "up" to the medallion hiding area!

Allow me to say get to Kaposia Park today,
Down Wilde Street to the end of the lot.
Start behind the back stop, go up the trail north to the top,
No further than the end of the wood fence.
Two paces in, by a tree hidden within,
Grass and plant leaves is the spot.

The official meaning of the clue.

Go to Kaposia Park, drive down Wilde Street to the top of the parking lot, get to the back stop of the ball field and take the path going north to the top and stop at the end of the wooden fence, two paces in to the grass and plants are two trees and the medallion is underneath plant leaves and grass at the base of the tree.
