Bah bah Black Sheep, have you got a clue?
No, sir, no sir, but this week’s sponsor sure has coffee for you!
What should we look for when we are going around?
Narrow your search to a place with a playground."
The official meaning of the clue.

An homage to our sponsor with a classic nursery rhyme built into the clue; directly tells hunters to only look at parks with playgrounds.

With your success, you could dress to impress,
As our spot provides more than a pretty penny.
So, feel out the scene, as this is pristine;
Combining for a clue better than any.

The official meaning of the clue.

The first two lines refer to something "grand", (success/impress), and alludes to something more than a pretty penny (like a grand or $1000). The last two lines reference "view" (scene and a "view is pristine"). Combined they form the park's name: GRAND-VIEW.

For whom the bell tolls, on the city’s knolls,
Feel free to openly genuflect.
Whether from east or west, a similar crest,
Adorns buildings near where you should have checked.
The official meaning of the clue.

Two churches are near Grandview Park: one Eastern Orthodox and one Western Catholic. But both are adorned with crosses, are located on some of the city's higher ground, and have bells that could chime! "Genuflect" refers to these churches and hints that the finder may need tog et near the ground to find the medallion.

A grand walk through a park with a view
Should lead you to this week’s treasure.
East of the Hammer, check some shrubs for the glammer,
And nail down your legacy for good measure.
The official meaning of the clue.

Directs hunters to Grandview Park, and instructs them to look east of a bench dedicated to "Hammer" in some shrubebry on the park's perimeter.
