The boat launch is used by many people to boat or fish on the wonderful Mississippi also nicknamed "Big Muddy". The informational board by the fishing pier talks about how the Mississippi has been part of the industrial movement of our cities uprooting. It also has a picture of that section of the river in a bird's eye view form on the board. Dakota County is our city's county which is also a Fencing company that fenced the wonderful Community Garden (plot) next to the new pavilion (left of the lot). There is a little sign on the fence that boldly says Dakota Unlimited where the medallion is secured between the sign and the fence.
