“Went” refers to Wentworth St. which is a street next to our hiding area. “Let the crowd cheer their intent” refers to the sounds of the crowd cheering on sports at Ettinger Field in SSP near bye. Clue 3
Leave thoughts of water; shift your gaze, to circles watched on sunny days.

Where archers gather, rules are clear, a measured target draws you near.

The official meaning of the clue.

This clue tells you to not look by the pump house but right next to it you should shift to the archery range area. Circles = archery targets, archers gather = archery range, rules are clear = archery range rules sign, measured target = a specific target will matter which is the 30 yard target.
