The official meaning of the clue.
  • “rebranded Vadnais Heights Days” is meant to suggest the former name of the festival, Heritage Days. Hinting hunters to Heritage Park.
  • If you look at the Vadnais Heights park map you will notice Heritage Park is listed as #7 “luck”
  • “Flip it” hints that the medallion is hidden under something you will have to flip to uncover it.

Look you’re a star, destined to go far.
All the way to becoming the finder.
Don’t be a fool, you must follow the rules!
Search don’t destroy — a clean cut reminder.

The official meaning of the clue.
  • “you’re a star” is a reference to the park map right as you enter Heritage Park. The start of the trail system is marked with a star.
  • “destined to go far” is a hint that the medallion is hidden far from the start/star and along the longest trail in the park.
  • “don’t be a fool” is telling hunters that the medallion is not hidden at Vadnais-Sucker Lake Regional Park.
  • “clean cut” is a reference to the clean cut of wood that the medallion is hidden under.

  • “A change in a name” is another reference to the former name of the Vadnais Heights Days festival, Heritage Days. Again hinting at Heritage Park.
  • The clue tells hunters to search within a Vadnais Heights park for the medallion.
  • The clue tells hunters that they will need to leave the nearby trail to find the medallion.
  • “Surrounded by trees” has a double meaning. (1) tells hunters the medallion is nearby a lot of trees. (2) is a reference to all the tree named streets that surround Heritage Park. 
  • The clue tells hunters the medallion is hidden on the ground in the woods.

The official meaning of the clue.
  • “A lot of gravel” is a reference to the gravel parking lot at Heritage Park. 
  • “Maze” is a referring to the maze of trails within Heritage Park. 
  • “A single bulb” is a reference to the single light pole in the gravel parking lot at the entrance to Heritage Park. 
  • As you enter Heritage Park you will notice the parks trail map. After examining the map you will notice the star marking your start point. Hunters should take the longest trail from the star to the medallion.

The legacy of Heights — claim your birthright.
Take a nature walk near a home of brush.
Follow tradition — find the apparition.
Past some fungi you may feel a ghostly touch.

The official meaning of the clue.
  • “Legacy”, “birthright”, and “tradition” are all synonyms of the word heritage. Hinting at Heritage Park.
  • “Nature walk” is a reference to Heritage Park’s nature trails.
  • “Near a home of brush” is a reference to a birds nest. The Medallion was hidden right below a nest.
  • Along the longest trail you will pass a tree that has a lot of large mushrooms (fungi) growing on it, as you keep walking you will come to a bench that has two white handprints on it (apparition/ghostly touch). The Medallion is hidden in the woods between the mushroom tree and the bench.

A heritage of treasure, brings much pleasure.
Along a trail several hundreds of feet!
Leave your nest — set your quest to the west.
Near a curve you could rest and take a seat.

The official meaning of the clue.
  • The word “heritage” gives away Heritage Park.
  • The longest trail to the west of the map runs 960 feet, per the map. Several hundreds more than any other trail in the park. 
  • “Nest” is a hint to look for the medallion near a birds nest.
  • As you make your way down the longest trail it will eventually come to a curve with the bench to your left. The Medallion is hidden in the woods near the bench and the curve of the trial under a birds nest.

At Heritage Park, you’re a star at the start.
Take the long route past swamp, den, then the shrooms.
Look to your right, there’s a half tree in sight.
Within this birch grove there’s plenty of room.

Your search will quench, lined up with the bench.
Search and scour until the prize is earned.
Under a cut of wood, you’ll find the goods.
Directly below a home for the birds.
