The first clue will be tweeted at NOON on Friday, June 28th!

  • Clues will be tweeted by Blaine Parks  at https://twitter.com/BlaineParksMN
  • The second clue will be tweeted at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 28th.
  • Subsequent clues will be tweeted daily at 10:00 a.m. until the medallion is found.
  • The medallion will be hidden in one of Blaine’s 64 parks.
  • Maps are available at the Park & Rec office and www.blaineparks.com or on the link below

Get your neighborhood all Jacked up for the hunt.

In the era where they partied “All Summer Long”
It is fair to say it outgrew its original capacity.
The official meaning of the clue.
It is our 50th year of the festival.
The medallion is hidden in a neighborhood park in a Jacks Link jerky bag.
All Summer Long refers to The Beach Boys song that was released in 1964, same year as the park.
The park was added onto in the 1980’s.

North, South, East, West figure out which one is best!
Take a selfie with your pearly whites
A place for all seasons is what is right
Be mobil with your vehicle and make sure to throw an extra “five-spot” in for gas!

The park is located on the west side of 65
Pearly whites refers to Park Dental.
Place for all seasons means we use the park year round.
Mobil refers to the Exxon station nearby and “five-spot” refers to a $5 bill. Lincoln St accesses the park.

This Canadian prospector saw the “Hairy Man” we’ve been told.

Big boy shoes is Bigfoot. Towards the cold is North.
Canadian prospector who saw the Hairy Man is Albert Ostman.
Stay away from the ball fields and stay close to the path.

The building at Ostmans is shaped like an octagon, so is a stop sign.
The Medallion is hidden near the building between the ramp for skating.
