The lost dinosaur egg has been found!
It was hidden near some Cedar trees below the sledding hill at Hillview Park! Thanks to Kyle Thompson, Cassi Brand, and Cecelia Brand (age 2) for finding the precious raptor egg! You may remember this adventurous trio from their 2013 glory, which they earned by finding the medallion hunt treasure chest. Because they had Dew Days buttons, they will be rewarded with $150, kindly donated by the Ground Round restaurant in Farmington. In addition to this, DinoLand’s new baby raptor has a name! Expected to hatch this weekend during the festive Dew Days celebration, the baby raptor has been named Cece!—in honor of Cece Brand, the brave, adventurous young girl who, along with her mother and grandfather, ventured out into the Farmington wilderness to discover a hidden raptor egg. Everyone, meet Cece (the raptor!) Here she is again with her namesake, Cece (the adventurous girl), as well as Kyle and Cassi!
