Summer has come and Dew Days is here!
The Medallion Hunt! You’ve waited all year!
But before you begin, let’s review the rules.
Search only public land, but not at the schools.
It’s not underwater, nor underground.
If the treasure you’ve found, report to Ground Round!

With that out of the way,
It’s time for the first clue!
Roses are red and violets are blue,
But you seek a flower with a golden hue.
Study the upcoming clues, verses and prose,
To discover where this gilded bloom grows.

With so much to do outdoors,
What’s not to like?
You can go for a wooded hike,
Or choose a path to bike.
Head down towards a babbling brook,
Or find a place in the shade with an open book.
Getting outside for Dew Days sure is awesome.
Remember to keep an eye out for the golden blossom.

Recent efforts are helping Farmington rivers flow,
Once again cool and clean.
If you’ve been searching the branches high and low,
Try somewhere in between.

The blossom has not been found just yet.
In which park does the golden flower hide?
If you have mixed feelings, you should let
Mr Elk decide
