2021 Litchfield Watercade Medallion Hunt

Medallion Hunt clues will be announced at 10am each morning beginning on Monday, July 5 on KLFD (AM 1410 or FM 95.9)

The medallion is hidden on public property within the Litchfield city limits.

If you find the medallion, follow the directions (the same day it’s found) that accompany it to claim your prize!

It all started at the age of 32.

Dr. Frederick Noah Ripley who Lake Ripley is named after froze to death at the age of 32 after being caught in a blizzard near Lake Ripley in 1856.

Years ago grass all around, nary a tree to be found.

We hid the medallion in an area where there was tall grass and few trees. Ironically, we did find one tree and that is where we hid it.

We actually borrowed this from previous years clue. We similiarily hid the medallion in a park with playground equipment.
